Joskin Trailing Shoe

Joskin trailing shoe applicators are particularly well suited for umbilical use because they offer a 6m spread width and are capable of coping with the volume of slurry from the modern slurry pump. The trailing shoe places the slurry where it is needed below the crop canopy so the chance of scorch and odour emission is virtually non-existent. Also by placing the slurry in the crop as opposed to on the crop the nutrient uptake is much higher. With 28 coulters spaced at 21.5cms apart, the Joskin trailing shoe applicator applies the slurry very evenly across the 6m width.
