Remote Controls

REMOTE CONTROLS

Tramspread were early pioneers of remote-control systems for engine-driven pumps which make it possible for an entire umbilical system to be operated and monitored by just one operator.  As well as saving labour, the systems allow the pump to be controlled at the push of a button from the cab of the applicator tractor and, when coupled with inlet and outlet pressure sensors and flow meters, can also warn of potential issues such as drag hose leaks. When fitted with an optional 360-degree video camera the tractor driver can also monitor the slurry store and surrounding area from the seat.
